Privacy Policy

How CDM Construction Inc. collects, uses and protects the information you share with us through this website.

Introduction

CDM Construction Inc. (“CDM,” “we,” “our” or “us”) operates cdmconstruction.com (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Website, contact us, apply for a position or submit subcontractor paperwork, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Website, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We use the information we collect only to respond to you, run our business and improve the Website, and we do not use or share it except as described here.

Information We Collect

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional) and the message you write about your project. When you email us a résumé, an employment application or subcontractor qualification and W-9 forms, we receive whatever those documents contain, which may include your work history, business details and taxpayer identification number.

Like most websites, our hosting and analytics services record technical information when you visit, such as:

  • your IP address, browser type and version, and device type;
  • the pages you view, the time and date of your visit and the time spent on each page;
  • the site or link that referred you to us, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries and discuss, price and deliver construction projects;
  • review employment applications and subcontractor qualification packages;
  • keep the Website secure, including detecting spam and automated form submissions;
  • understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it;
  • meet our legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small data files a website stores in your browser. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, which uses cookies to measure how many people visit the Website, which pages they view and how they arrive. Google Analytics does not capture what you type into our contact form, and we do not use it to identify you. Information it collects is processed by Google under Google’s own privacy policy.

The accessibility toolbar on every page remembers the display preferences you choose (such as text size or contrast) in your browser’s local storage. That preference stays on your device and is not sent to us.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Website will still work, although we will not be able to include your visit in our analytics.

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of companies to operate the Website and our business. They receive only the information needed to do their job and may not use it for any other purpose:

  • Cloudflare hosts the Website, processes contact form submissions and runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps us tell real visitors from automated spam;
  • our email provider delivers contact form messages to our office inbox;
  • Google provides Google Analytics, as described above;
  • our professional advisors, such as accountants, attorneys and insurers, when needed to run our business.

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order or a government request, or to protect our rights, property and safety.

Data Retention and Security

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected: inquiries for as long as the conversation or project lasts and a reasonable period afterward, and business, tax and subcontractor records for as long as the law requires.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information you share with us, and the Website is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal information about you and give you a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • tell you the categories of information we collect and the service providers who receive it.

To make a request, email us at office@cdmconstruction.com. We may need to verify your identity before we respond, and we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date shows when it last changed. Please also review our Terms & Conditions, which govern use of the Website.

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your information, email office@cdmconstruction.com, call (949) 301-2400, write to CDM Construction Inc., 18017 Sky Park Cir #Q, Irvine, CA 92614, or reach us through our contact page.
